Magi refers to the visitors from the East who brought gifts to Jesus. Nancy Stahl’s illustration places the travelers on camels beneath a brilliant star, with a rose-to-purple sky suggesting dawn in the desert. Greg Breeding designed this 2014 Christmas issue.
